Dear writer,
Thank you for registering for your Writing Day Workshops conference. We received your registration and payment, so you’re all set. You should have your event’s invoice in your inbox shortly. Thank you!
We will communicate with you over time, and we send MANY important emails in the final 7 days. If it’s a few days before the event and you haven’t heard from us, please check your Spam Filter in case our communication is getting stuck, and/or reach out to us.
We plan many conferences. You can find the date and website for your event here on our Master List: https://writingdayworkshopsevents.com/wdwdates
You can get answers to common questions through our FAQ page here: https://writingdayworkshopsevents.com/wdwfaq
If you can’t find an answer, you can always write us (Chuck, coordinator) at any time at: WritingDayWorkshops@gmail.com
Our events rely on word-of-mouth promotion from attendees, so any social media sharing or word spreading you do is valuable and appreciated. If you are part of a writing group of any kind, please consider sharing news of our event(s).

There is little to do between now and the event date. We will send periodic updates over time. If you have any questions or concerns, reach out.
If you want to purchase more add-on options, such as additional pitches or critiques, email us and say so.
If you purchased an agent/editor pitch, the formal Pitch Schedule is crafted (and sent out) in the week leading up to the event. If you purchased a critique, we will reach out 10-30 days before the event and ask for your materials.
As a bonus for signing up for an in-person 2025 conference, you will get some access to some pre-recorded instructional classes, including a class on how to pitch agents at events. Those will be sent in the week leading up to the conference, and some after the event.
You also have the opportunity to sign up for pitches at a specific online conference following your in-person conference on the calendar schedule here. This is totally optional. It just means you can sign up for additional online agent pitches ($29 each) at an upcoming online event without being a registrant for that online event. If you want to register formally for the event and get access to the 10 live classes that weekend with Q&A, let us know, as there is a 50% discount. If you are interested in the online pitches, we will be in touch following your in-person event and invite you to sign up for those online pitches. This is something that will be entirely dealt with *after* the in-person event.
If you enjoy the “Writers Got Talent” centerpiece panel of the conference, where you hear agents offer their secret thoughts on anonymous first pages, keep in mind we have more than 30 of those panels recorded from previous events. These extremely helpful panels are available for purchase as a bundle, and the info is here: https://writingdayworkshopsevents.com/wdwstore
Best,
